What if I told you that your willingness to unapologetically be “too much” directly affects your ability to receive those next-level income results and create the impact you want?
When I share this with clients, their immediate reaction usually goes something like this:
“But what if I really am too much? Or come across as too pushy, too salesy, or like I’m bragging?”
After all, it’s pretty human to want to fit in and be a part of the tribe, to feel accepted and loved, and normal to worry about how people will respond to your taking up and owning your space…especially if you’ve learned it’s safe to shrink or blend in.
The truth is, while it might feel safer to not ruffle feathers and hide in plain sight by staying small, it’s costing you and your business.
Society teaches us to be the “cool person” who’s nice and makes everyone else happy. Who never complains, who never says anything wrong or bad, who is perfect in every way.
Society, and maybe online marketing, tells you that’s the person people want to be around and work with. That’s who you need to show up as and be to get paid.
This message and belief then gets ingrained and suffocates your youness and gets transferred into business, your content, your marketing, your sales, your offers, your pricing, and even how you support your clients.
But, if you take a step back, I wonder, do you actually want to fit in and be like everyone else?
Do you want the success and income of the tribe?
Do you want to build and grow a business based on outside approval and the expense of your truth?
Is it even all that safe to blend in, play small, and hold back?
I’d argue it’s safer to be unapologetically too much of who you are and safer to go for and create too much of exactly what sets your heart of fire.
I’d argue your safety isn’t found in the tribe, it isn’t found in the likes, it isn’t even found in the approval of your clients or your bank account, it’s found in you - and the more you’re willing to embody and BE too much of who you already are, to boldly and unapologetically claim your own too muchness, is ironically, the moment the floodgates open with too much of the external like clients, cash, and joy.
Go claim your space. Embody and own what it is you do proudly and allow yourself to be “too much”, because I promise you:
If you lean into being too much, you'll be just the right amount that you need to take up space, bring in more money, and create a greater impact.
Wishing you your version of success!
