About five years ago, I finished work with a client of mine, who reflected that I had a very different coaching style than any other coach she’d worked with.
In full transparency, at the time, I didn’t know what to make of that…I was two-and-a-half years into my entrepreneurial journey and didn’t have the experience and confidence I do now.
My mind wondered if maybe I had been wrong about how great our work together had been. After all, the coaching industry is unregulated, and I DO have a unique background, lens, and approach…maybe I was doing it all wrong?!
But, other clients started to reflect the same, and those clients got bigger and bigger transformations and results.
Those same clients also started renewing, not once, but for years. A few of them started asking to renew a year at a time to keep the paperwork simple.
Clients also started coming back, including that client who first reflected my different style five years ago (who I adore, and now KNOW we make a great team and do epic work together).
I’m sure, in many ways, I AM doing things ‘wrong’ if you were to go based on some guidelines or coaching rules…but it’s working. 15 clients of mine have gone from no business or early stages of business to six-figures, with more on track for their first $100k+ this year, many clients have scaled to multi-six-figures ($250k, $500k, $700k, and $800k), and 3 clients have scaled to a million+.
Just as importantly, countless clients have shared with me that they’ve completely changed their entire way of thinking about business, and in turn, their lives. They have more confidence, better relationships, more stability, trust themselves to make decisions, feel more grounded, and are living the lives they’ve always vision boarded.
That’s why I went live to share some of the non-traditional ways I support my clients to help them have big transformations and get epic results.
