Eleven years ago today, I moved to NYC to start over.
As Sinatra and Jay-Z sing, “Since I made it here, I can make it anywhere.”
I’m not going to share all of the ways New York has schooled me and supported my business success. Though, NYC has for sure been one of my greatest teachers.
I AM feeling reflective about why some people “make it” and get to make the money they want and others struggle to reach their financial goals.
I’ve been coaching for almost as long as I’ve lived in NYC and in business for 8.5 years, so I’ve seen a lot in that timeframe.
Obviously, it’s never one thing that makes or breaks someone’s business and earning potential.
But, I have noticed one mindset EVERY client of mine who’s created big six, multi-six, and seven figure results embraces … I also see so many business owners resist or avoid this mindset altogether and how it keeps them stuck, slows down momentum, and limits sales and revenue.
Truth be told, this is one mindset that’s also helped me “make it” in New York and cross $1.5 million in the past 5.5 years in business.
