Save the Drama For Yo’ Mama And Measuring Metrics That Matter

September 19, 2019 by admin

One of the nice things about problems is that a good many  of them do not exist except in our imaginations." -Steve Allen

Here's the dealio: Our brain loves to stir up some drama that doesn't exist.

It's kinda like an emotional, hormonal teenager that way. This is all fine and good in the survival-department but not so helpful in the running-a-sustainable-and-profitable-business-department.

This wiring can make even the most level-headed entrepreneurs spin out. I mean, it's easy to get wrapped around things we have little control over, and business hands us situations like this all day, every day.

If you fall into the camp of people who tend to create problems that don't exist, no shame in that game. Welcome to being human. But, let's squash the drama before it squashes us and our bottom line.

Join me in the livestream below, where we're talking all about getting clear on metrics that matter, how to stop chasing every imaginary problem down the a hole, why we create problems that don't exist, and what to do when there really IS a problem so you can run your business like a boss...instead of it running you.

xo, Kim

We jammed on:

-30:09 an off-topic riff on what to do when it feels like things aren't working.

-26:55 why our brain likes to kick up dirt when things are going well.

-27:17 how to harness your brain's desire to find and solve problems to be more creative. This is one of my favorite brain hacks and content creation tips for those times you're feeling stuck!

-24:58 looking at the metrics that matter and why this is important for business success and growth.

-22:20 the two questions to ask yourself to get clear on your metrics so you know what to measure and what to ignore.

-18:25 are you addressing the right issues in your business?

-16:07 some real talk about social media metrics and what we're measuring.

-14:56 how to handle a real problem that's impacting your revenue.

-12:35 are you making strategic or emotional business decisions and why this matters.

-9:55 how we get addicted to creating problems that don't exist and how this sabotages our business growth.

-8:18 the difference between problems and opportunities for growth.

-6:57 what the ONE Thing has to do with metrics that matter.

-1:54 my invitation to you so you can UPLEVEL and grow your business impact and income.
