You’ve probably heard me say this before: profit matters more than chasing revenue numbers.
It’s easy to get caught up in the numbers game - chasing revenue growth at all costs for a shiny social media post - while forgetting what really matters: scaling your business in a way that pays you well and supports the life you want.
(We’ll save the conversation about what to do with that profit for another time.)
Some years, I’ve celebrated adding $100k to my already multi-six-figure business - all with a 1:1 model.
This year, I’m celebrating something a little different:
Sustaining a healthy, multi-six-figure revenue.
Working fewer hours than ever in my 8.5 years in business.
Increasing my already above-average profit margins.
(Quick note: this conversation isn’t about having a 1:1 model specifically, but it is generally the most profitable and can pay you as much - or more - than other models that bring in 3-4X the revenue.)
Here’s the kicker: this has been one of the most transformative years for my business. I’ve made more changes, shifts, and UNlearned more than in almost any other year.
That’s why I’m sharing:
The strategic changes and UNlearning that helped me increase profits while working smarter, not harder.
A mini-year-in-review of what’s working right now to build six and seven-figure businesses as we head into 2025.
I’m diving into:
The exact shifts I made this year, why I made them, and how they helped sustain revenue and increase profits.
The work I intentionally put back on my plate, why I made that decision, and how it’s been one of the biggest needle-movers.
What I stopped, started, and UNlearned in 2024 - and the lessons I’m taking into 2025 to continue scaling smartly in a way that feels sustainable and enjoyable (no “Sunday Scaries” or burnout required).
