I was talking to my coach recently about how tough it would be if I were looking for a business coach at this stage of the game.
Not only is the thought of starting over with someone new and needing to teach them all about me and my business exhausting, but like we chatted about on the podcast recently, I’m also very mindful of who I allow to influence and impact my thinking, decisions, and business (and life)...
and, let’s call it how it is: it’s tough sometimes to know who’s true and who they say they are online and who’s just really good at marketing.
It had me think, the same is true for any hire I make.
While there’s more options than ever before to choose from, in some ways, this can also make it more confusing and daunting and keep you wanting to go at it alone and do it all yourself.
That’s why I went live to dive into how to sift through shiny marketing to find and hire right-fit support (and how to attract your own right-fit clients).
I’m diving into:
the important mindset to adopt as a CEO when hiring so you’re not giving your power away, making yourself wrong, or staying immobile and slowing down momentum or growth.
the responsibility that comes with marketing, what this means for your sales process, and how to shift through the noise online to find the people who will best support you and your business.
why this matters for you as a service-provider, and what to think about in your own strategy and approach to make it easier for people to notice you and get why you’re the best person for them to hire.
exactly what I’d be looking for and if I were going to hire a coach or new team member, red flags and deal breakers, and how I’d still use and trust my gut to make a decision.
factors we consider (that have nothing to do with marketing) before bringing on any new team member and what we’ve implemented that’s helped us grow an amazing team, most of whom have worked with me for years.
Wishing you your version of success!
XO, Kim
