One thing I’m a big “no” to is “this isn’t working.”
Not because I don’t want to support clients through challenges or because it bothers me to hear it - very much the opposite. I’m all-in with my people. It’s my honor, joy, and frankly, my job, to sit with them in the frustrating and sticky times and to support them with whatever they bring to the table that’s in my wheelhouse.
I’m a big “no” to this phrase because after over seven years coaching clients 1:1 and being privy to all sorts of industries, niches, and strategies, I’ve seen and know, most strategies work if you work them, and “it’s not working” is a pretty tough mindset to creatively problem solve and spot solutions from.
Instead of a defeated “it’s not working”, I encourage my clients to take their power back and bring what’s going on in their business to our calls, so we can take a look together to find the right gap to close.
This approach is why I believe my clients get results that don’t make sense, and why I have a client on track for their first million dollar year in a down economy, multiple clients on track for their first six-figure year when peers are shutting down their businesses, and even more clients sustaining or scaling six and multi-six-figures this year.
