You’ve heard me share that I’ve been fully booked with 20–25 (sometimes more ) 1:1 clients for over 6 years.
What I haven’t shared is that this is in part because I’ve gotten very intentional about one thing: not just booking any client, but focusing on booking right-fit clients.
And while I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with a roster of dream clients I adore, this didn’t just happen by accident.
I’ve also learned the hard way what happens when someone isn’t the right fit.
In the past, I’ve had clients who were lovely humans… but not aligned with how I work or the kind of partnership I want to have and believe in.
And, I’ve seen how wrong-fit clients can drain your energy, stall your growth, and lead to overworking, self-doubt, hating your work, and even self-sabotage.
So, if you’ve ever felt tempted to “just say yes” or have tried to “get them” to say “yes” out of scarcity or pressure to fill a spot, you’re not alone. But, I can also tell you: that’s not the path to sustainable scalability.
That’s why in this mini-masterclass I’m breaking down:
What a right-fit client actually is, what it’s not (hint: it’s not a perfect person who never needs anything or never gets upset), and how this supports business ease and profitability.
Why prioritizing right-fit clients matters more than people realize if you want to scale, pay yourself more, and actually enjoy your business.
How the wrong-fit clients can sneak in and slowly hold your growth back even if they seem fine on paper.
5 key considerations I screen for that have helped me work with clients I love (and that you can borrow to attract better-fit clients, too).
This is the kind of stuff that really matters for long-term, sustainable success, and we don’t talk about it enough online. I can’t wait to have this important conversation with you!
XO, Kim
