About this time last year, the reach of content in my FB group dropped big time.
So, I got to work.
Today I’m seeing between a 1,125% to 2,150% increase in organic reach on average … and even a whopping 7,024% increase on some posts.
More importantly, visible engagement (comments), less visible engagement (saves, DMs, click-throughs), and traffic to conversion events have increased, and we’re sustaining a multi-six-figure revenue without cutting into profit margins.
In fact, we increased conversion rates and profit margins in 2023 thanks to these changes.
Do 100% of my posts now perform like this? Do I have the social media secret to sell you?
No and no.
But, I CAN tell you what I did and didn’t focus on because that’s the real CEO sh*t that will always help you get results in any area of your business.
Here’s what I didn’t do:
Hate on the algorithm or social media
Blame the industry
Study what looks like it’s working for someone else and try to copy that in my business
Buy a social media course
Make this mean anything about my ability to book clients or make money (I KNOW post reach and engagement is one *very small* factor of this)
Meaning, I didn’t give my power away by getting looped around unhelpful stories.
What I did do:
Take a look at what WAS working and driving sales, clients, and revenue and double down on that FIRST (because priorities + it’s easy to spin out on sh*t that isn’t moving the big needles forward)
Mindset work + 1:1 coaching support to ensure I was at neutral before growth hacking
Study my content, data and performance, audience, and clients with an open and curious mind to spot trends, what people are responding to, and do more of that
Refine my messaging and positioning, implement, test, get feedback, & repeat
Have FUN, treat this like a game, play to win, and not take social media too seriously
This has been one of the best unexpected gifts because it’s reminded me that your people and your business will always tell you what you need to know if you’re willing to ask and look.
And, growth hacking is really freaking fun if you allow it to be 
and so are the results.
