Your brain might want to complicate marketing and sales strategy, but I promise, booking clients CAN be simple.
I’d also bet there are people who are a great fit for your services already all around you. Meaning, I’m guessing your next client is closer than your mind might want to tell you if you allow yourself to notice and take action.
Allowing your strategy to be simple boils down to having a mindset that knows clients are everywhere and looks for opportunities to 1) open up relationships 2) nurture relationships with people that you come across every day (not only on social media!) and 3) make offers to deepen the relationship.
What letting it be simple to book clients doesn’t mean is feeling desperate and frantically sending a couple of cold DM pitches and hoping people miraculously want to pay you.
It also doesn’t mean becoming a mind reader assuming you know ahead of time who’s going to buy and who “can’t afford it”...and only connecting with people who have dollar signs over their heads (which, I know you’d never do anyway because that’s kinda icky).
Add this all together, and booking clients looks like:
opening up a relationship without deciding ahead of time if they’ll hire you
being genuinely curious about the person in front of you and how you can help them solve their problems and reach their goals
sharing value without expecting anything in return
THEN making an offer to take the next step in the relationship.
THIS is how simple it can be and this is the kind of mindset and strategy that allows for clients now and clients later…meaning, people who are ready to buy from you right away and a pipeline of warm leads who become ready to hire you in the future.
The more you take the mindset that sees opportunities everywhere to open and build relationships, the more you’re going to serve your business and serve others through your business in the present AND for the long game.
And, that simplicity creates results that compound and feel like they’re coming in overnight
