Sick of making offers and hearing crickets?
Looking for that strategy that 10Xs your revenue and makes your business blow up?
Let me ask you this: how’s your follow-up game?
I *know* I’ve said this before, and I’m gonna follow up and say it again: follow ups are magic. And, if you’re not making the number of sales you want, I’d bet you there’s an opportunity to follow up WAY more.
Here’s the deal: humans suck at making decisions. Those same humans are busy, have a lot in their face, and lots of options to choose from.
If you’re not the one in their face supporting them to make a buying decision, they’re going somewhere else, or doing nothing at all. Because confused people don’t buy.
Not because you aren’t good enough, your offer isn’t good enough, or any of the other lies your brain is handing you...because of those very human reasons.
And, it can be a big leap and scary to throw down a big chunk of money...and give it to a stranger on the internet! That’s why creating safety and trust is crucial in your sales process.
One way you can create some of this safety and trust in your sales process and help people feel more at ease when they’re making that buying decision is to stop playing hard to get, make the first move, and show them you care and want to work with them by following up.
This feels really good on the receiving end and helps people feel like they’re not just another number. I mean, doesn’t it feel good when someone you’re dating lets you know they like you first?!
If that doesn’t convince you, let me share my favorite stats with you: only TWO percent of sales are made on the first contact…most sales are made between the fifth and twelfth follow up…48% of people never follow up, and 25% of people make ONE follow up and stop.
Do the math, if you’re like most people and failing to follow up or only following up once, there’s your gap. There’s the ‘secret’ strategy you’ve been downloading all the freebies for 😉
The truth I remind my clients all the time is following-up more than once brings the heart, shows you care, and will book you more clients (stats say so).
Make it easy for people to hire you and give you money, and double up on your follow ups, and watch those sales roll in with ease.
Wishing you your version of success.
