Want to sell more this year? Instead of downloading another ‘how to’, here are the two things you need to share more of 👉🏻your mess AND your magic.
Because the game of selling is all about helping someone feel heard and understood. It’s about creating a level of trust that allows someone to feel safe investing their money through your work.
To be crystal clear here, you need to share BOTH. 👉🏻 When you share your messes (*that you’re on the other side of*) AND the magic you bring to your work, you create connection, trust, and help your people see what’s possible for them outside of the ‘messy middle.’ 👈🏻 this is the combination that connects, builds trust, inspires action, transforms, and sells.
Your mess is a part of your magic. It’s beautiful, it’s human, and if that doesn’t sell you on embracing your mess, it will also make you more money.
But, when it comes to sharing that messy magic, how many times have you caught yourself hiding in plain sight, smothering out your truth, asking yourself:
What will people think if I open up about this?
What will my family think? And, my friends? Gah, what about that girl from high school?
And, what about my clients?
What if this makes me seem like I don’t know my shit and no one ever hires me again?!
Said with so much love: STOP!! These are all ways your brain is lying to you, keeping you hiding, and playing small.
These are the stories that keep you from being of service and impacting more lives.
These are the fears that keep you from sharing your truth and end up sabotaging your business income and success.
Here’s what happens when you see the BS your brain is handing you and open up and speak your truth:

👉🏻 you own your power and take up more space which allows you to have a bigger impact.

My invitation to you for 2021: stop giving so many f*cks about what everyone else *might* think and start speaking your truth and taking up and embodying space like the boss you are. I promise you, when you stop hiding in plain sight, the clients and money stop hiding as well.
Share the less than shiny moments and shit you’ve worked through. 👈🏻Share the moments that make you human and help someone else see themselves through you. Share the truth you wish people didn’t know.
AND, don’t leave your people hanging in a shit storm (that’s just spewing online to get your needs met and not of service, friends). BE the beacon of light that leads the way out.
Share the good stuff and your wins and let people see what’s possible. Share the magic on the other side of what feels messy. Let your people see perfection isn’t required for transformation and epic success...being human is, and being human is embracing the mess and the magic.
When someone feels as if they can relate to you and like you’re the one who can help them out of their ‘mess’, you’re the one they want to hire, pay, and invest through.
