My Marketing & Industry Predictions: What’s Really Working to Pay Yourself Six-Figures or More

February 5, 2025 by admin

It’s not news that a lot has shifted in our industry ⤵️

Here’s what I see getting results this year - across my six, multi-six, and seven-figure clients - as well as what’s allowing me to pay myself multi-six-figures:

➡️The Year of Scaling Smarter, Not Harder

Hustling to chase top-line revenue just to brag on social - with little to show for it? We’re all over it.

  • This year, it’s all about profitability, take-home pay, and doing work that actually lights you up.

  • The focus is on building a business that supports your life - not the other way around.

  • It’s not just about making money—it’s also about you do with it. We’re getting smart and investing so our money makes real passive income while we sleep (instead of cranking out another offer and launch).

➡️The Year of the Personal Brand

AI might be an awesome tool, but at the end of the day humans still want to buy from & work with humans.

  • People care more about WHO they’re buying from, not just what you’re selling.

  • This is the year to share your values, personality, why you - and what makes you different - and what you stand for - not just information.

  • People are craving connection and realness, not perfection.

➡️The Year of Simple Customer Journeys & Funnels

In a world of short attention spans, AI-Generated content, saturation, & uncertainty (hello, TikTok?), You can’t afford to skip relationship-building.

  • 3 sec reels are great for eyeballs, but not so much for building the kind of know, like, and trust that drives high-ticket sales - focus on building a strategic journey to deepen relationships.

  • Complicated funnels are out - keep it simple and prioritize value adds + clear and direct next steps.

  • Selling courses or templates? Make your framework unique and personal - something people can’t download for free somewhere else.

➡️The Year of Transparency & Level-Setting Expectations

It’s not that people aren’t investing - they’re just more discerning & over the B.S.

  • False promises, overblown claims, and flat out lies aren’t cutting it anymore (or maybe this is my wish for our industry?!)

  • Honesty, authenticity, and clear expectations will always win. PSA: if you’re relying on shaming or misleading marketing, this isn’t a sustainable strategy.

  • Audiences are buying from brands and businesses who are willing to be transparent: keeping it real-real, strategic vulnerability, and taking people behind-scenes (think: show them what’s inside your program) will sell more this year.

➡️The Year of Quality over Quantity

Posting 2x a day, every day? This is no longer the move.

  • Sure, if you’re mastering your message & organic content, reps matter to speed up your learning curve. But, 2024’s trend of doing less, better is holding strong.

  • The algorithm wants and is pushing good, relatable, and shareable content.

  • Fewer posts that hit harder = more reach, visibility, and a better ROI on your & your team’s time and effort.

➡️The Year of Mastering Marketing

This means organic or Paid. The days of so-so marketing making millions are gone.

  • The online space is more saturated -and more competitive - than ever. There are a lot of people crushing content, which means you HAVE to step up your game.

  • Even if you’re not on TikTok, the potential ban will affect you on every platform & likely drive up ad costs.

  • This doesn’t have to be scary! Focus on upgrading your message & positioning, mastering the marketing that’s working right now, and stay open to adapt or adopt a new strategy.

➡️The Year of Learning & Leveraging AI

AI is no longer just a fun tool - it’s a must-LEARN if you don’t want to be out-Paced or left behind by tech.

  • I don’t see AI replacing thought leadership - I see it replacing manual work & being used as a partner or tool to brainstorm, simplify workflows, and save time.

  • Originate your own ideas: AI works best as an assistant, not as the CEO.

  • Knowing how to leverage AI will be a skill set that’s essential moving forward. AI support is similar to team support - it’s as good or bad as the leadership, direction, and delegation of the person using it.

P.S. You don’t need more drama or busy work in your business - you need clarity, focus, and a strategy that works for you and your goals.

Is this the year you scale smarter, pay yourself more, and feel good about how you’re running your business?

I’d love to help you do exactly that. Book a free coaching consultation here.

Unimaginably life-changing.
Coaching with Kim has been completely mind-blowing. Basically, I wish I could go back in time and could’ve started coaching with your earlier. It is incredible what an hour together, once a week has done for my life and my business, and our call is always the highlight of my week!
