Let’s talk about this difference between being opportunistic with everything going on globally and being a smart, responsible business owner and member of society.
Being opportunistic looks like hoarding all the TP and trying to sell it to people who desperately need it at some insane price.
Or grabbing every last bottle of Purell and antibacterial soap to do the same.
But, marketing and selling your services that people need and want right now?
Making offers that solve problems?
Giving yourself a chance to make money to support yourself, your family, and the economy?
That’s being a smart, responsible business owner and member of society.
The more you sell and make money right now, the more you’ll be able to take care of yourself and your family...meaning, resources can be saved for those who need it.
As a heart-centered entrepreneur, the more you make, the more you’ll be able to give back and help others.
And, frankly, considering how many people don’t have the luxury to work right now and are scrambling to figure out how to make the online thing work for them, it’s not even ‘nice’ if you’re not doing your best to sell and make money when other people wish they could.
Bring all your love and service, give, AND absolutely lean in and market and sell right now (and always). Selling truly is serving in more ways than one.
And, a loving reminder that your NOT making money doesn’t help someone else make money or have a different situation. Just like your making money doesn’t take money from someone else.
I know the more money I make, the more people I’m serving, positively impacting, and helping to make money for themselves. I also know this means I can support myself, my family, my team, invest in other services, and spend money in my community online and offline. All of that keeps money circulating and flowing.
Assuming you’re in integrity and have a great service or product: It’s not bad or gross to sell and it’s not wrong to make money. Not now, not ever.
Help money circulate.
Help money to do its job.
Stop making money and yourself wrong.
You can give, be of service, and sell. It can be both.
Sending love and wishing you your version of success.
