And, the *without* expecting anything in return is key. Because just like a producer in LA could smell a desperate actor trying to forge a connection in hopes for a shot at a part, your people can feel the same.
When you shift from feeling like you’re “hunting for clients” or like you have to engage -> to embracing opportunities to connect and spread your magic without seeing people as dollar signs or as a way to climb the social ladder, it changes the game, the depth of your network, how people feel when they interact with you, and, in turn, your results...like people who want to introduce you to a potential client or set you up with a speaking opportunity, and new clients who feel like you’re not trying to just make a buck and can’t wait to pay you because of it.
