I used to stress every day about making enough money.
Even as the breadwinner covering NYC-priced bills, paying myself multi-six-figures, and knowing my investments were earning nearly as much as I made - I still worried:
Would this be the month it all disappeared?
For context:
- I’ve been fully booked with 20+ 1:1 clients for over six years.
- I’m often on a waitlist and booked out months in advance.
- I’ve made $1.6M in that timeframe.
- And, I’ve made 67+ consecutive $10k-$40k cash months ($25k-$40k three past few years).
Rationally, I knew I was fine. But you and I both know anxiety doesn’t always follow logic.
And I know I’m not alone because I support my clients with the same fears:
Like one client who scaled to $50k months and was past capacity but still found themselves stuck in busy work, nearing burnout - chasing new strategies they didn’t need to fill their already-full pipeline and roster.
Our work together has been about helping them see they don’t have a problem booking clients and that their business is more than OK.
This meant we could also focus on setting up better screening for the right-fit clients, raising their rates, and streamlining their sales process so they could work less and make more.
This shift saved them time, and freed up their energy to focus on what their business actually needed from them: leading their team and delivering exceptional results.
After almost nine years supporting clients to six and seven-figures, I’ve learned:
Even when you’re making great money, it’s easy to fall into the trap of worrying it’s all going to disappear - and this often leads to working harder on the wrong things.
And, if you don’t trust you’re OK in business, it doesn’t matter how much you chase and make - it will never feel like enough.
The shift that changed everything:
I stopped freaking out about open spots when I realized:
It’s a NORMAL part of EVERY successful business to have spots open up.
Whether you sell 1:1, group programs, or masterminds, even at multi-six or seven figures with a waitlist, open spots are part of the game.
When I stopped seeing an open spot as a “problem” with me, and instead as a normal part of business, I started:
Letting go of the fear that I was doing something wrong - and stopped filling my time with unnecessary work.
Seeing sales and marketing as an ongoing, neutral process - like staying in shape.
Shifting my focus from worrying and hustling harder to trusting my ability to spot and solve the right problems.
You and I both know: “What you focus on expands.” And, as James Wedmore says: “Worrying is making a plan for a future you don’t want.”
This shift keeps me focused on what’s working, making money, and hitting my revenue goals - the future I want, without the stress.
What I ask myself now:
Instead of spiraling when I have a spot to fill, I ask: Do I trust my ability to spot the right problems and solve them?
Here’s what I remind my clients:
Scaling smarter doesn’t mean avoiding challenges altogether - because business is all about creatively solving problems.
It’s about focusing on the right ones and trusting your ability to solve them.
That’s where security, sustainability, and bigger results come from.
This is also how you pay yourself more without working more - because you’re no longer hustling for your worth or stuck in busy work that doesn’t move the needle forward.
What this means for you:
This shift is the foundation I help my clients build so they can:
Map out and execute a simple, scalable strategy.
Understand what’s normal in business, avoid self-sabotage, and focus on the right things for consistent $10k-$100k months.
Spot and solve the right problems to create and sustain six and seven-figures.
