What you can’t see is who I had to become over the last seven-and-a-half years to become the kind of CEO who can make, hold, and sustain recurring multi-five-figure cash months.
Who I had to let go of and stop being to allow myself to focus on my business, work, clients, and let in so much good.
What you can’t see are decades of stretchy AF decisions, actions and investments - both financial and time.
I know it would be so fun to write an inspiring message telling you I manifested this business and life by just clicking my heels together or kicking back - that it was super comfortable.
That I was exactly who I needed to be when I started this business and that I didn’t need support.
That I barely worked and never had a work week that was more than twenty hours.
That I never had to set a boundary, put myself out there, have hard conversations, or make leaps and spend money before I knew if things were going to ‘work’.
That I was never scared or unsure. That I never cried or had a tough situation.
But, I’d be lying.
What’s true is I LOVE my business and my life.
What’s true is it’s not an accident.
What’s true is I’m one of the happier and more content people I know. What’s true is I’m doing business on my terms, and my husband and I have built a non-traditional life by design.
What’s also true is while the steps for business and making money are pretty simple, at least for me, I’ve had to become a different version of myself - shed parts of me that weren’t serving and wouldn’t have allowed for any of this success.
You could also call this becoming more of the me who was underneath it all.
What’s true is I continue to feel stretched and uncomfortable, I continue to make stretchy decisions, actions, and investments - it just FEELS more comfortable and a whole lot easier because I’ve had two decades of practice and evidence that it always works out for me in the long run at this point.
