We’re days out from one of the busiest sales times online.
I wanted to drop in with a note and reminder because I KNOW this week can kick up a lot for those of you who don’t have a pre-planned offer and sales strategy.
If you already have your Black Friday offer in the works with a strategy to sell, this reminder isn’t for you. Rock on and go get your sales this week!!

But, if that isn’t you, and you’re feeling “behind” on your 2023 revenue goals, some scarcity, or overall FOMO as you see other business owners roll out their discounted offers
I know this week can make you feel like you’re missing out, “leaving money on the table”, or trigger a belief that you can’t slow down or take time off over the holiday weekend.
Allow me to remind you that, sure, sometimes Black Friday sales can be lucrative, but it’s NOT a CEO move to plan a last minute Black Friday offer a few days out.
Said with love, that isn’t strategic or giving you the best chance for success, and will more likely leave you feeling overwhelmed, resentful, and frustrated at your results.
So, if you don’t already have a Black Friday plan, take the pressure off, and enjoy your intentional decision to not offer something this weekend.
And, I’ll remind you there are 360-ish more days of the year outside of Black Friday week for you to sell and make money.
For the majority of businesses, this isn’t the weekend that’s going to make or break your revenue. But, it can make or break the way you feel.
I have just as many clients, if not more, intentionally opting out of Black Friday offers as I do clients I’ve supported to map out strategic Black Friday sales and plans in advance. And, for a little more evidence that either way can be “right, I’m not offering anything for Black Friday. I’m relaxing and shopping the sales instead.
