Hey there! I'm Kim!
I'm a coach, writer, and entrepreneur on a mission to help you make more money doing what you LOVE.
I help ambitious, heart-centered solopreneurs and coaches ditch the overwhelm and stop hiding in plain sight, so they can build businesses they're wildly in love with and make more money doing their thing!
I've combined my years of coaching experience, background in psychology, business, marketing & sales know-how, love of learning, and unique career history with my intuition and empathy to create my signature compassionate, yet strong, style of coaching.
I'm passionate about what I do, and I literally do a happy dance when my clients have breakthroughs, “ah-has”, make life-lasting changes, and reach their business and personal goals.
I’m on a mission to help more people make a living (a damn good one) doing what sets their heart on fire. I believe this will make the world a better place and raise the status quo.
What I believe:
I don't believe in a one-size-fits all version of success. I believe success comes in all shapes and sizes, and we all have our own unique version of success that fulfills us.
Striving to fit inside someone else's mold for success will only leave us feeling suffocated.
I believe we’re all so much more capable than we give ourselves credit for. I believe we can ALL make a living and impact doing what we love.
I believe the more we own our purpose and stop hiding in plain sight, the more we’re able to share our mission, message, and get paid.
I believe selling is being of service and making money with integrity is beautiful.
I also believe our mindset is the foundation for everything we do.
Without a strong, "success mindset" all the strategies in the world won't get you anywhere -you'll self-sabotage your progress before you even start. That being said, we can't exist solely in our minds. That's called daydreaming.
When it comes to business, I believe in strategy based on psychology and human behavior, showing up with value, and serving with integrity. I believe connection is at the core of a successful, sustainable business. We're talking real relationship building, y'all.
I believe in the power of marrying left and right brain, mindset with strategy, clarity with action, and science with woo woo.
I believe in the long-game and the power of grit. I also believe in the power of simplicity. Business does not need to be complicated. I believe less overwhelm and more focused, aligned action is the path to success.
I believe in learning the rules and knowing how to break them in a way that supports you. I don't think any of us got into the business of being in business only to be a carbon copy of someone else.
I believe success (however you define it) is created from a having a clear vision, a very specific mindset, personalized strategy, focus, aligned action, consistency, and a little grit with a big side of our own magic.
I work with you to create the clarity, mindset, strategy, and action plan that breeds your version of success and hold you accountable to your vision.
I believe our dreams aren't random, and we can all build a business we’re wildly in love with.
Are you ready to make more money doing what you LOVE?
How did I end up Here?
For as long as I can remember I've had the desire to motivate and lift others up. I was raised with the belief that we can do anything we put our minds to and make money doing what we love by two modern-hippie parents (one banking data analyst turned artist and one race car driver!). I've also always been fascinated with how the mind works and what makes people thrive.
A hustler at heart, I graduated college (and high school) in three years with a degree in psychology, but I dreamt of being on the big screen.
As you can tel, I've always believed our dreams aren't random and we can create anything we want, so it was off to Los Angeles for me. I spent a decade fulfilling my passion of acting and running my own acting career as a business until I found myself craving MORE. My right-brain was lonely, and my left-brain was itching to be part of the party again.
Determined to find my version of success and next level of growth, I picked up and started over in New York City. (This worked really well for me, but I’m not sure I’d recommend this to everyone!)
I spent a few years searching. I spent a short stint working for a matchmaker, an architect, in real estate, and a good amount of time working as an agent in advertising marketing and selling artists.
Meanwhile, I was taking a life coaching program on the side, coaching friends, listening to any self-development book I could get my hands on (seriously, I've read them all), and reading about how the brain works and positive psychology for fun (doesn't everyone do that?!).
A tearful ride home on the subway after a work event one night, led to my lightbulb moment: not only did I love coaching and everything self-development related, but I had also been unknowingly coaching people my entire life.
So, I did what any "rational" thirty-something would do and set out to start my own business. (Btw, not too big on "rational" dreams and goals over here.)
Mind you, when I began my journey as a coach and entrepreneur, I wasn’t sure HOW I was going to do it. I just knew WHAT I wanted.
Full of big dreams and even more determination and my core beliefs, I flung myself into coaching and building a business.
At the time, the word “business” kind of gave me the icks. Coming from the entertainment world, “business” conjured images of ill-fitting, polyester suits, fluorescent lighting, and spreadsheets. But, I was determined to make this work, so I decided to push my fear of fluorescent lighting aside and enrolled myself in a business marketing class, then another, and another.
I realized it was more than my love of learning that was getting me to borrow business psychology books from the library; I had found a new obsession.
Turns out, my mom’s words of wisdom back in my college days (study business, you’ll love it and be great at it) were right…as always.
Meanwhile, I was coaching more and more clients and a common thread was beginning to emerge. The clients who were coming to me were entrepreneurs, creatives, and coaches who wanted to build a heart-centered business.
Without realizing it, I was creating my own coaching style, a mix of one part mindset coaching and one part business mentoring.
After hundreds of coaching sessions with some pretty incredible people and equally incredible results, I've found “my tribe”: ambitious, high-achieving passion-driven and heart-centered entrepreneurs and coaches using the online space who are ready for MORE. Using a 4-step framework of clarity, mindset, strategy, and aligned action, I help my clients transform their businesses from the inside-out so they can make more money doing what they love!
As a former actress, I get “artist brain” and the insecurities, fears, and constant stream of ideas that come with it and keep you up at night. I get the unique set of challenges that come along with being a high-achiever as well as the guilt and feeling that no one else gets it. I’ve experienced overwhelm and near burn out on my way to discovering the power of simplicity. I used to have a black belt in dimming my own light and know what it’s like to hide in plain sight and feel like a best-kept secret. I understand what it’s like to be a solopreneur, start your own passion-driven business, and the ups and downs that come with it.
Which brings me to today. I've found my place ambitious, passion-driven entrepreneurs build businesses they’re wildly in love with and make more money doing what they love.
I absolutely love what I do, and I would love to be a part of your journey.
I've been around the coaching block.
I spent a year in an immersive coach training program, and I successfully coached over 100 sessions before I launched my first coaching program. I also have a degree in psychology from the University of Miami (any Canes out there?) and graduated in 3 years at the top of my class (magna cum laude for those of you who care) This started my love for the science behind our emotions, mindset, and behaviors. I added to this education with multiple in-depth business training programs.
I've been featured as an expert and coach on Today I'm Brave, The TUT Blog, The Change Blog, The Real Female Entrepreneur, Her Agenda, Folioh Port, The Ladies Coach as well as numerous coaches' podcasts, webinars, and interviews.
As a student of life, I'm obsessed with learning, which means continually investing in my education.
My side hustle while I grew my business was in sales and marketing for artists. I literally helped artists get more visible and paid and honed my sales and marketing skills.
And while I never thought I’d celebrate and share this one, my pay-the-bills job as a waitress and bartender when I was acting schooled me in the art of service and providing value. It showed me I’m a rockstar at sales and making money (we’re talking some crazy good tips, like the time I was handed an EXTRA $1,100 in cash). Turns out this translates very well to service-based businesses!
I walk my talk and have always invested in having my own coach. I believe in the power of coaching! I can say from personal experience that I know coaching is life-changing and the best business investment we can make. This stuff works.
